GET TO KNOW

Your GCAAR Leadership Team

What I wish others knew about GCAAR: The impact that participating more in the Association adds to a REALTORS®’s overall success. What do I think will be different about GCAAR in the next five years? Technology, technology, technology! The most rewarding part of real estate is…delivering results for buyers and sellers, plus developing stronger relationships with my clients and my REALTOR® colleagues. The best real estate advice I’ve given and received is…“plan your work and work your plan,” and “being a REALTOR® is a 24/7 job.” My favorite real estate technology is…Realtor.com. Before I worked in real estate I…was in the start-up/automobile technology industry. I handle difficult situations by…having the conversation now and not later. My favorite sports team is…anything Boston (Sox, Pats, Bruins, BC). What’s on my iPod is…Sinatra.

What I wish others knew about GCAAR: The Association’s main mission is to improve the business of its members. If all members took this to heart we’d have many more people involved with GCAAR. What do I think will be different about GCAAR in the next five years? In the next five years the average age of our members will decrease, more of the services that REALTORS® use in person will be handled online or via an app, and we’ll work more closely with surrounding local associations. The most rewarding part of real estate is… being able to see the impact that we have on people’s lives.

Long & Foster Real Estate

The best real estate advice I’ve given and received is… “if you list you’ll last.” Also, it’s important to invest in real estate, and if you have the means, you should try to buy at least one property a year. My favorite real estate technology is…Homesnap.

Before I worked in real estate I…worked at Clark Construction and sold life insurance.

My favorite sports team is…the Washington Wizards...duh.

I handle difficult situations by… first, breathing−and then figuring out ways to have a positive outcome.

What’s on my iPod is…what’s an iPod? On my iPhone I have Apple music, and you’ll find a nice mix of Kids Bop and Jay-Z.
