Family & FriendsToday we honor Pastors Greg and Stacey Schaub for 10 years of service to our church body. As we look back at the way things were and compare it to the way things are, it is no question that the Lord brought the Schaubs here for such a time as this. It would be wise for all of us to remember the wise words, “And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love!” (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 The Message) What a joy it has been to see the LORD build this church under the leadership of Pastors Greg and Stacey. We encourage you to demonstrate your appreciation and love for them as the Lord leads you. Our hope is in HIM! Gateway Leadership

SAY CHEESE! November 30th from 3:00 to 9:30 pm and December 1st from 2:00 to 8:30 pm Olan Mills will be taking pictures of our church family for a photo directory. Sign-ups will start November 8th at the Info Center.

A thought provoking book titled THINK ORANGE asks us to “imagine the impact when church and family collide.” From this concept comes the sermon series that will stimulate and challenge the way we look at church and family. Many of us believe that both the church and the family are at a crossroads. It seems we have arrived at a potentially defining moment in society in which the church is losing its influence and the home is losing its heart. The church exists to shine a light into the darkness, a light that highlights God’s goodness and reveals God’s Son. Join as a we our collective purpose and influence as a church and a family.

Catch the vision and join the Gateway family. We would like to invite you to join us for dinner and to learn more about how we “Do church as a TEAM.” Sunday, November 15th, 5:30 pm @ the Church office located at 5040A Commercial St SE. To RSVP or for more information, call the church office. We hope to see you there!
