Fine English ebonised and ormolu mounted double fusee verge bracket clock, the 7” brass arched dial signed Edward Cockey, Warminster on a silvered boss to the arch over a silvered chapter ring enclosing a false bob pendulum aperture, ringed winding holes and a date aperture, the movement with pull repeat also signed Edward Cockey, Warminster to the highly foliate engraved back plate, also with a pierced foliate engraved apron and pendulum catch, within a stepped case surmounted by a two tier basket top, four pineapple finials and a carrying handle, 20” high (pendulum, door keys) *This clock is also sold with a book by David Pollard - The Astronomical Clockmaker Edward Cockey and Other Warminster Horologists, signed by the author.
