Alex Walsh Rotherham A long standing member of the gap family, Alex has had a fantastic month in February, delivering over £9K in additional revenue from a mix of perm and training revenue on top of his healthy temp desk of 70 temps plus a new temp client generating £1k margin in addition. Yorkshire Regional Director, Laura McGarry said: “Alex has had a stand-out month, in particular driving valuable additional revenues for the branch - proving his ability to boldly negotiate some strong margins and fees for our services. vPresenting the brand with professionalism and building strong relationships with key decision makers has also generated a healthy pipeline for March to bring Rotherham branch to a successful financial year end. I am excited to see Alex grow and continue to deliver strong results through 2018-19. Well done Alex.”
A profile of Alex Career to Date Alex started with gap on the 26th March 2015. Hobbies and Interests Alex is preparing for his wedding in May this year to his partner Danielle and is currently working hard to squeeze into his favourite speedos for the honeymoon in Santorini!

Shannon Capper Wolverhampton Shannon has taken to running all of the branch business single handily since Sophie left. She has been looking after 150 temps spread over a client base of 27, has improved the level of service at these clients drastically from clients not happy and considering other agencies to get a service review form complete with excellence. She has also taken to looking after all service aspects such as CV searching, pre-screening, organising 50+ registrations, interviewing applicants, doing on call for four weeks and all without complaining. She has also regularly worked extra hours both in the morning and staying late at night. Operations Director, Paul Hipkiss Said: “I am delighted to see Shannon win this award as her contribution to the Wolves team and her clients has been exceptional this month. Through some challenging times Shannon has really dug in and given us a solid platform to grow from, her positive outlook in branch and can do attitude has made a significant difference in securing our clients and making them want to use gap Wolverhampton in the future. A profile of Shannon Career to Date Shannon worked for gap from May 2015 – April 2017 on the DPD contract until we walked away at which point she worked for First Personnel from April 2017 – October 2017 again on the DPD contract, Shannon re-joined gap in October 2017 as an Account Manager. Hobbies and Interests Shannon enjoys shopping, she also has a love for castles and adventure days out, and she loves spending time with her family
Kirsty Auterson Central Sales Team Kirsty has gone above her job role by taking it upon herself to understand how we price contracts and putting a document together that gives full transparency of process to clients. This has massively helped with a contract that is pending a decision. UK Sales Director, Natasha Thomas Said: “Kirsty is always coming up with ideas to make the tender response process as easy as possible and when she gains information she openly shares this when working on responses to make sure we all benefit. The sales support team have received nearly as many tenders during the first two months of 2018 that we received in total in 2017 so the work they are doing is sometimes pressured, this however has not stopped them to continually innovate and keep a calm head under pressure. Kirsty is always a pleasure to deal with and the work she does deserves to recognised as she is an outstanding individual who oozes passion and demonstrates this in her impeccable work. Well done Kirsty, well and truly deserved!”

Hobbies and Interests Kirsty loves gin and also loves to travel to different places and see what the world has to offer. She also likes singing RnB songs such as R Kelly Bump ‘n’ Grind!
HeHead ad Office Office Adrian Crucianu IT Adrian joined the IT department in January from gap’s Crewe branch. He is extremely hard working and is always aiming to resolve any incoming queries quickly and efficiently. He is always keen to learn and assist in any way possible, including tidying the office cabling, turning five broken laptops into three working laptops, building a new system for gap 24/7 and even fixing the tap in the gent’s toilets at head office! Adrian is already becoming an invaluable member of the IT team. Finance Director, Jeff Mannering said: “Congratulations Adrian you have hit the ground running in your new role within the IT team.”
A profile of Adrian Career to Date Adrian joined gap’s Crewe branch in August 2017 before joining the IT team in January this year. Hobbies and Interests Adrian loves a gadget! He’s installed an automated self-timed plug in the IT office as well as brought his drone in for some experimental video footage of Head Office.

Samantha Tee Ceva Onsite - Tamworth Sam has run a very strong recruitment drive recently, increasing site headcount from approximately 70 to 120 on site. gap onsite Managing Director, Matt Hull Said: “I’m delighted to see Sam take this accolade. CEVA Dordon/Tamworth is such a difficult area to attract quality temporary labour throughout the year. For Sam to step up in what is peak for the automotive trade and deliver these numbers without any additional support on-site is fantastic. Sam always has a ‘can-do’ attitude and on the back of a margin increase of 16p per hour things are looking good for our On-Site operation into 18/19. Well done and thank you Sam”.
A profile of Samantha Career to Date Sam has been with gap for four years managing the Onsite account for Ceva – VW Logistics Hobbies and Interests Sam is a big fan of music and enjoys going to live gigs when she can, she is also is very much a dog lover. Certainly her own Staffy, Tilly is the love of Sams life!
Patricia Yanez-Martinez Kerr Recruitment Patricia will be finishing February at just under £18K, which includes five permanent and three temporary customers. Managing Director, Mark Roberts Said: “An excellent month from Patricia, coming at a time when perm is increasingly becoming a significant part of gap personnel group’s weekly margin. £18k weekly GP is an aspirational level for a month, and deserves the recognition of Employee of the Month. Great work!”

Temps of the Month Bruce Young (Gloucester) Bruce has been an excellent worker for us at Nampak since the start of the year. We receive regular glowing reports about Bruce’s excellent work mentality and commitment. Bruce will regularly work extra hours to help with unexpected orders, going above and beyond. The client has contacted us this week and has agreed to take him on early as a permanent member of staff as they don’t want to lose him. Matthew Newman (Gloucester) Matthew has works at our client Ladder & Fencing, he has an excellent attendance record and learned many new skills in an extremely short period of time which has impressed the client immensely. He is always the first name on the list when the client is rebooking and will eventually be taken on Permanently. Anetta Kokenyesi (Crystal Martin on site) Anetta has never been absent at work. She is always happy to come on short notice and stay overtime. Anetta is always polite to everyone and is always happy to help. Olivia Spruce (THG on site) Olivia is part of our onsite supervision team and over the past few months has demonstrated fantastic professionalism, commitment and will always go above and beyond for the contract. Recently we experienced a significant peak on volumes requiring as many temporary workers on shift with immediate requirements. Olivia went back to site after her shift to support the night team to ensure the requirements were met. Mark Donaldson (THG on site) Mark is a member of our onsite supervisory team at THG. His passion for his work and willingness to go the extra mile sees Mark coming in at short notice, working extra hours where required and also attending training for payroll outside of his normal working hours to allow him to support the contract team with the payroll whilst he works on the night shift. Leigh Clyne (THG on site) Leigh is a member of our onsite supervisory team and recently got thrown in at the deep end with a last minute volume requirement for additional headcount. Leigh coordinated workers already on shift to work overtime, was able to get additional staff onsite within an hour to cope with demand and also pulled forward staff on the following day shift to allow orders to be fulfilled within the clients request. For someone new to the role, with no previous exposure to booking staff for work this was a fantastic achievement with very positive feedback from the customer. Ngoni Chagonda (Liverpool) Ngoni has worked since August 2016 with the same client, Supervisor from Veolia has identified Nogni for a special mention as his performance during his employment is always of the highest calibre. Chris Turner site manager said “Ngoni is a pleasure to have onsite, nothing is ever to much trouble. Yet to take a day off in two years and will always be the first to stay behind if required. Would love a few more of him” Keith Hirst (Rotherham) I would like to nominate Keith Hirst at MGB Plastics for this month’s TOTM. Keith goes over and above in terms of his attitude, work rate and flexibility towards work, even at short notice. Keith is the first name on the rota at MGB and is often looked upon train new starters. During his 4 year assignment Keith has an outstanding 100% attendance record and thoroughly deserves the recognition. Giulia Tommasi (Kerr Recruitment) She has been extremely professional since joining our client Moonpig.com as a Customer Service Executive. Moonpig has given very positive feedback on Giulia and they are very happy with her work.
