We are proud to announce our participation in the 2nd annual Merlin Olsen Day of Service. This year was our first year participating and we had 15-20 brothers donate their time to help clean up the campus. We dedicated our time to clean up the Harmonic Woods Conservation Area, which is located on the south end of Fraternity Row. We collected two large black trash bags of trash and found some scrap metal along with other odds and ends. We decided to try to attract a little attention to our efforts by wearing some crazy and tacky Hawaiian themed outfits. We have also started formal pledging and have around 30 pledge brothers. We feel that we have another strong and diverse pledge class. Also, on the note of pledge ship we would like to invite and have as many alumni as possible at this falls initiation. We are looking to have some alumni volunteer to help us make their initiation a very memorable experience. More Information will be available in later issues. Lastly it is fall which means football season is upon us! The entire undergraduate chapter would like to invite each and every alumni and family to our game days. It is always an experience to connect with alumni and share stories of past and present. Please do not hesitate to walk into a house that every alumnus has once called their own!

We are kicking off the month of October with a road trip to epic proportions to Bourbon Street! Months of hard work and planning are coming to a head when we depart Gainesville and travel to the bayou to take down currently ranked number 1 LSU.

We are excited about Delta Gammas Philanthropy, Anchor Splash, and are eager to continue our strong relationship with them as they are our homecoming partners and are also a Gamma Theta Chapter. Seeing this is the first issue of the Gamma Theta Times I am always open to suggestions on topics or adding new areas to each issue. I am in no way journalism major so any suggestion or comments are welcome and taken with open arms. In Hoc Signo Vinces, Current Undergraduate Gamma Theta Chapter
