he name Command & Conquer has been around for 17 years. That’s almost two decades’ worth of spin-offs, reboots, expansions, browser games and Facebook tie-ins. This new C&C is promoted as a multiplayer-focused experience, based around competitive PvP, including free-for-all matches, AI skirmishing and more imaginative modes like Capture The Flag. Excitingly, Victory Games aren’t ruling out the Tiberium or Red Alert universes being added to the game post-launch, and the inclusion of new single-player campaigns are also being teased. This C&C seems new yet encouragingly familiar, but you know what? That’s exactly how we want it.
