Lindy Hoppers dazzle audiences with their technique and versatility. Based in England, the Jiving Lindy Hoppers are an award-winning dance company of international repute. Founded in 1984 they have toured extensively throughout the U.K., Europe, the USA and Japan. The company has received innumerable awards and extensive coverage both In England and America. The Company's name comes from the "Lindy Hop" which is the original form of the jive dancing that developed In Harlem In the late I 920's. The Jivlng Lindy Hoppers show draws a great variety of authentic dance forms, steps and styles. This unmissable show brings together a magic formula of jazz dance, the celebrated singing of Bronx blues star, Mlntzl Berry and the energy of Herbin Van Casyelle, one of the most talented American black male tap dancers. Music Is provided by The Kelth Nichols Orchestra. Keith Is considered to be one of the foremost authorities on Classic Jazz and Ragtime, specialising In all the older jazz piano styles, from Scott Joplin through to James P. Johnson, Fats Waller and Duke Ellington.

She has toured throughout Europe and many parts of the world with major companies, and since forming her own company In 1990 has continued to receive lavish praise for her performances. Backed by two singers, a percussionist and a guitarist she'll be aiming to dispel the 'stereotype of flamenco for once and for all', and to show all that is best about the modem form of this profound and passionate art. Among the pieces Marla and her troupe will perform are Cante de las Minas, Tangos, Serranas and Taranto.
