BeauSoleil with Michael Doucet

For the past 37 years, BeauSoleil with Michael Doucet has been making some of the most potent and popular Cajun music on the planet. BeauSoleil’s distinctive sound derives from the distilled spirits of New Orleans jazz, blues-rock, folk, swamp pop, Zydeco, country and bluegrass. Their first studio release in four years, their 25th album From Bamako to Carencro, has been widely acclaimed.

Critically acclaimed singer/ songwriter Brian Kennedy’s breakthrough came with his sublime Top 10 international hit Captured. A member of Van Morrison’s band for many years, Brian has also enjoyed a hugely successful solo career for over 20 years with numerous hit albums. Brian makes a welcome return to the Festival stage for the first time in many years.
