LIQUID MIND

STACIE CHAPPELL

Liquid Mind The artwork in Liquid Mind represents a complex composition of paint pouring, mixing, and pooling, reacting to physical interactions of fabric dyes, inks, acrylics and oils. Bold forms and gestures are present as a result of the creative process, and engage the viewer in a color induced sensory experience. Chappell uses the universal languages of color, shape, and rhythm to engage with the viewer on a purely instinctual level. Chappell’s vision makes stunningly evocative chromatic compositions hypnotically beautiful, but also intellectually engaging.
