WHO’S WHO: THE CREW

Pat Davis (ASM - Costumes) Pat was part of the cast for G7’s The Hiding Place and Fiddler on the Roof. She also acted in four plays for Opening Night Theatre. For the last few years, she has been involved backstage for about 14 productions as an ASM. Being involved with so many talented people is a thrill for her.

Dani DeJong (Costume Designer) Dani has worked over the years in several productions for G7 and is delighted to be involved in another period piece. Her happy place is ruffles, tea gowns and morning suits. Her designs have been seen in G7’s productions of Little Women, Pride & Prejudice, and The Importance of Being Earnest

Kyra Esau (Choreographer) Kyra is happy to be joining Gallery 7 Theatre for her first show doing choreography. The vision has been effective simplicity and she has enjoyed working with the team to develop Ken’s vision. Kyra has been choreographing for over 15 years and loves the theatre world. She spends her time as the Artistic Director of Chilliwack School of Performing Arts. Kyra hopes everyone is inspired to see all the shows the Lower Mainland has to offer!

Beckie Evans (Musical Director) Beckie has been performing and teaching for 35 years. Armed with an undergrad degree in music, a love for creativity, and a knack for jumping into situations with both feet, Beckie regularly finds herself performing and leading in and out of the theatre. This is Beckie's second show with G7, her first being Peter and the Starcatcher. "Much love to my family - I hope you all enjoy the show!"

Sarah Green (Make-Up & Hair Designer) Sarah is a UFV Theatre Alumni and recently directed a compilation for Abby Theatre Fest as well as another piece for the Harrison Festival and the UFV Director's showcase. So far this season, Sarah has appeared in G7’s productions of The Magician’s Nephew and Murder on the Orient Express. In 2021, she played Helen in A New Normal (G7) and has been on stage, backstage, and part of the production team for 20+ other Gallery 7 Theatre shows since its inception so many years ago.

Ken Hildebrandt (Director) Ken is the founding Executive/Artistic Director of Gallery 7 Theatre. In addition to managing the organization, Ken occasionally directs, acts, or does lighting design.

Select directing credits include The Diary of Anne Frank, The Importance of Being Earnest, Lord of the Flies, and Doubt: A Parable. Select lighting design credits include The Fantasticks, Mary’s Wedding, Pride and Prejudice, Last Train to Nibroc, This Wonderful Life and The Magician’s Nephew. When not doing theatre, Ken enjoys announcing at air shows, going to the movies, and relaxing at home with friends or video games.

Gabe Kirkley (Lighting Design) Gabe is thrilled to finally fulfill an agreement he made between himself and Ken: he would design the lights for this show in exchange for Ken designing lights for The Magician’s Nephew. For G7, he previously did lighting design for Halo and has done many sound and projection designs for shows like The Giver, The Mousetrap, and Little Women. He also directed this season's production of The Magician's Nephew. Big thanks to Ken, Charlene, Amaris, Brittany, to all of you for coming to see the show, and a special thank you to Paige and Sephi!

Dianna Lewis (Props Designer) Being creative has always been a part of Dianna’s life. She’s been a professional photographer for over 30 years and enjoys the challenge of capturing live theatre action. She has worked as a prop designer for ages and likes the satisfaction of seeing ideas and sweat come to life on stage.

Andrew Potts (Construction Manager / Set Coordinator) It was a sad yet beautiful day in March 2020 when Andrew dismantled and stored the recently-built and half-painted Secret Garden set in G7’s container, not knowing if/when it would be coming back out. It’s great to see the show come to life 3 years later!

Brittany Suderman (Stage Manager) Brittany is thrilled to be a part of sharing this beautiful story with audiences. She is no stranger to working with G7, and has enjoyed being onstage, backstage, and in the stage manager booth. Most recently she has stage-managed Last Train to Nibroc (G7) and Little Dipper's inaugural show, Nowheresville, BC. When not at the theatre, Brittany enjoys spreadsheets, being in nature, and all things organizing.
