For several years now, Saint-Tropez has developed a vibrant art scene, worthy of a capital.

Terre d’inspiration pour nombre d’artistes, ce magnifique village dont le port est célèbre dans le monde entier, lui a d’abord valu la faveur des peintres comme Signac, Matisse ou bien Marquet, qui y ont réalisé des œuvres majeures, des écrivains comme Colette ou Boris Vian l’ont célébré, avant que le cinéma ne l’encense et ne le fasse passer à la postérité.

A land of inspiration to many artists, this magnificent seaside town whose port is famous throughout the world, was a favorite place for painters such as Signac, Matisse and Marquet, who produced their major works in Saint-Tropez joined by writers such as Colette and Boris Vian long before the cinema praised it and made it famous.
