RESIDENTIAL SQUARE The definition of a “Residential Square” is given by a residential area consisting of buildings of up to six floors destined to housing and comprising leisure functions, and institutional, local residents according to the Report for the Pilot Plan from Lúcio Costa. Looking foward to respect the character of the formal strictness of Brasilia and the first Supersquares, and respect proposing of the Urbanist Lucio Costa, where the buildings have a trace stricter thereby freeing the pillars of the downstairs for a free stroke and often organic. The arrangement of the blocks was to sort the visual principle, making elements that frame the landscape, defining focal exploring different fields of view and creates different sensations along the promenade. Continuing studies of these large frames generated by high buildings have been proposed gardens, public areas that are treated castings and landscaped throughout the Supersquare that explore new fields of vision at all times when different visual opening. Within this Supersquare proposal is also developed a six-floor residential building that explores issues of frames and cause different sensations to the user. SOUTH LAKE HOUSE The proposal for the design of the residence was to respect the great visual of this terrain and gently interfere in them, leaving not only for the resident of the house enjoy free visual, but also the people who pass through the site and are violated by big fences and living walls that interrupt the landscape. First, we propose a major visual axis where arises a floating belvedere on the ground and serves as shelter for the intimate part of the residence. Where the void is the great protagonist, deconstructing the idea of m assive occupation by the constructed object and proposing the exaltation of architectural space, the presence of absolute emptiness. In contrast to the belvedere, arises misfed in the ground the below block, as a body inseparable from the soil, bringing subtle cutouts of the land and respecting its natural slope, hosting the social and services areas. The constructed objects respect the conditions of the terrain, releasing and framing the landscape and respecting the steeply sloping terrain, proposing a new reading of housing and a different proposal to land occupation.
