Quick Actions Help Save a Life

Throughout the month of November, G4S teams helped raise funds for cancer research through Light the Night through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Teams from Las Vegas, Louisville and HQ all took part, helping raise thousands of dollars.

When an individual at a hospital in north New Jersey got trapped between a car and a parking bollard, the quick actions of G4S officers on site helped save the individual’s life.

When an elderly passenger showed signs of distress, CPO Garnett Denton administered AED and CPR, saving the woman’s life. 4

Sergeant Douglas Dang saved the life of a woman at a hotel in Hawaii who was contemplating taking her life. As he aided her, they both began to slip off the edge. Sgt. Dang refused to let go, holding on until help arrived.
