A Message from the President

Letters to G4S

Team, As the calendar turns into 2017, I want to send my sincerest thanks for everyone that made 2016 into the year it was. We saw some difficulties, but as a company we came together to overcome the obstacles and have a successful year. We were able to grow as a company, claimed a number of awards, sponsored numerous charitable causes, and began honoring and recognizing our most important asset: you. As a company we were honored with Military Friendly Employer Gold award, the first time that Gold, Silver, and Bronze were awarded. We were in the Training Top 125 and Learning Elite, as well as individual awards given to numerous people within G4S. We continued to stress safety with our 2nd Annual Safety Stand Down Day, our Safety Moment coming once a week, and the continuation of Why I Work Safely. Two of our sites reached impressive safety milestones, as teams in Texas and Georgia reached 18 and 11 years, respectively, without a recordable injury. Beginning in February we started Shout Outs, our weekly thank you to employees across the country. We were able to recognize numerous individuals and teams for their hard work, life-saving actions, and day-to-day dedication to this company and our clients. Without a strong foundation a building is sure to collapse. You are our foundation and you continue to remain sturdy and I couldn’t be more proud of the work that we put in that has put us in the position we are. Thank you for all that you do and I look forward to our future in 2017 and the years beyond.
