5 Keys to success

Good light

Indoor seedlings need 12 to 14 hours of light per day.

An appropriate temperature

During germination, the ideal temperature is between 21°C and 24° C for most vegetables and between 25° C and 30° C for the nightshade family (such as tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, etc). when the plants are lifted, the temperature should be around 18° C during the daytime and 15° C at night.

Healthy, porous and light ground Use special growing soil or other substrate suitable for growing.

A high humidity level

Humidify the substratum well before seeding. After this, keep it humid but without saturating it with water.

The choice of seeds Depending on taste, eating habits and the space to be planted.

Seeding should be carried out around 10 weeks before planting in the garden or on the balcony, that is at the end of January or the start of February.

Ideal for species with large seeds, those which grow quickly and those which do not like pricking out. Sow 3 or 4 large seeds and 5 to 7 small ones in a pot or small pot. Keep the best-looking plant and dispose of the rest. After the seedling has germinated in the pot or small pot, and as soon as the weather permits, plant it directly into the earth, which will prevent transplant shock.

Green and grey border, made of recycled PE, height 5 cm and length 10 m. Resistant to shocks, UV rays, and temperature variations, the edging is used for straight, curved or circular constructions (minimum diameter 18 cm), to separate a lawn from a path, to delimit a tree tower or a bed. Galvanised steel garden border, available in matte colours, epoxy black and natural galvanised steel. It consists of 3 bendable slats, 10.2 cm high and 91.4 cm long. Thin but rigid 1.4 mm this, this border is intended for straight or slightly curved designs. Discrete notches hold the slats together until the desired length is reached (infinitely bendable).
