cities in Texas With more than 30% of our patrons visiting from outside Tarrant County, the FWSO plays a significant role in promoting economic growth in Fort Worth through visitor dollars spent at local businesses.
Texas communities are reached through our Statewide Touring Initiative. The FWSO travels to communities that would not otherwise have access to live orchestral concerts; many are located in rural areas and are often over 100 miles from the closest professional orchestra.
Students K-12 are reached through our Adventures in Music education and outreach programming.
40,000 Concerts In The Garden attendees annually. For more than 25 years, our signature music festival in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden has marked the beginning of summer. This concert series features live music, fireworks, affordable lawn tickets, and free admission for children. Our eclectic concert lineup includes Tchaikovskyâ€™s 1812 Overture, a Tribute to The Eagles, Star Wars and Beyond, and a Fourth of July Family Fireworks Picnic.

Symphony League members Founded in 1957, the Symphony League of Fort Worth provides the FWSO with vital volunteer and financial support throughout the season.
2,100 Free tickets are offered to underserved adults and children through our Beethovenâ€™s Buddies program. Every $10 donated to this program provides one free ticket to an FWSO performance for an underserved member of your community.
