ExhibitorNews Clear and configurable approach to comms HUMANTECHNIK / AUDIOROPA Stand: 7-X196 Debuting at ISE 2020 is the xepton-NX digital radio transmission system from Humantechnik/AUDIOropa, which offers flexibility of configuration to suit a wide range of moderation and communication applications. High quality and extensive transmission range are among the cited features of xepton-NX, which is said to be suitable for applications ranging from unidirectional tour guide and interpreter applications to professional dialogue and intercom environments. Delivering what Humantechnik/AUDIOropa describes as rich and lively transmission of sound and speech, the
system comprises a transmitter, two receiver types, a beltpack and stethoscope receiver, as well as a transceiver unit for portable dialogue applications. A stationary transmitter is also available. The company notes that the pocket receivers enable the connection of all commercially available headphones and earphones, while it is also possible to connect an inductive neck loop. The latter allows transmission directly to hearing aids or cochlear implant systems that are equipped with a T-coil. The menu of the devices, which can be called up via the display, is controlled with the use of three buttons. Both application types – unidirectional and bidirectional – allow simultaneous communication in different groups.

BLUEFISH444 Stand: 15-T290
MACNICA TECHNOLOGY Stand: 15-C370
Video card provider Bluefish444 has introduced the 4- and 8-channel IngeSTore Server video recording appliance at ISE. It can support multiple video interfaces, including SDI, HDMI, NDI, RTP/RTSP and SMPTE video-over-IP standards. The appliance allows users to record multiple simultaneous channels and encode to a host of production, archival and streaming formats, create proxies and use Adobe or IngeSTore Server supports multiple video interfaces Avid NLEs to live edit the files while recordings are underway. The IngeSTore Server can be connected to network storage where files can be recorded and shared for collaboration before being broadcast, streamed or archived. The product can also record directly to local storage.
Live video transport specialist Macnica Technology is showcasing the MPA1000, a fullstack AV-over-IP module designed to bring lowlatency IP video transport to OEM manufacturers and a range of professional AV products. The MPA1000 transports compressed UHD 60p 4:4:4 video, audio and control over a standard Gigabit Ethernet connection. The module The MPA1000 module is designed to offer low-latency IP video transport is field-configurable to transmit or receive signals; once connected to the network, the media traffic is discoverable through the included NMOS IS-04/05 services – an open standard for publishing and discovery of content streams. Starting with SMPTE ST 2110 and NMOS-04/05, the standard for high-performance AV-over-IP in broadcast, Macnica has created an extended profile that includes support for TICO-XS compression and other pro AV capabilities.
Praesensa networked for PA and VA BOSCH Stand: 2-A90, 2-B70, 2-B80 The new ‘state-of-the-art’ public address and voice alarm system from Bosch – Praesensa – is on display at the company’s stand. According to the company, all components of the system are networked, ensuring the highest flexibility and scalability from small centralised to large decentralised systems. The Bosch Omneo IP architecture supports Dante audio networking, AES67 and AES70. The multichannel amplifier architecture with intelligent power allocation across the amplifier outputs and integrated spare channel improves the effective utilisation of available power, regardless of the loudspeaker load in each zone. As a result, fewer amplifiers are needed, saving up to 50% on space, energy and back-up battery power and leading to a very competitive cost of ownership, claims the company. According to Bosch, Praesensa offers special features for the highest level of data security and full network link redundancy with smart integration of functions and back-up facilities. No single point of failure is core to the system concept and only a few different devices are needed to fulfil all system and user needs. 64 ISE Daily 2020 Thursday 13 February
