Please note that when booking your Wedding Ceremony with us you will also need to contact the Registrar at Weybridge Registry Office on 0300 200 1002 to confirm their availability for your chosen date here at St James. Unfortunately, we are unable to organise this for you and cannot take responsibility for the failure of the Registrar not being booked. A separate payment will be payable to the Registrar upon booking with them.

Our linen is plain white and is included in your hire, however these can come in a variety of colours if you would prefer, therefore please let us know if you would like something a little different.

A room can be made available for the Bride to use throughout the wedding day if requested.

Menus, Table Plan & Place Cards We ask that you deliver your final table plan and place cards to us 3 days before your wedding.

Child Prices Master of Ceremonies We recommend a Master of Ceremonies to assist in the smooth running of your day to help with group photographs and to make any announcements. Should you prefer not to have a Master of Ceremonies why not nominate a family member or close friend.

Wedding Cake We ask that your cake makers deliver your wedding cake to us on the morning of your wedding.

A separate children’s menu can be provided. If you require a highchair or booster seat, please let us know at least 4 weeks before your wedding.

Music You are welcome to organise your own DJ or Band, however please let us know if you would like us to provide you with details for these or please visit our trusted supplier page on our website.

Personal Wedding Co-ordinator Our Personal Wedding Co-ordinator will be available during your planning stages and will help create your magical wedding day while being on hand throughout the event.

Accommodation Although St James cannot offer on-site accommodation, we can happily provide a list of hotels within a short distance of us.

Disabled Facilities St James has a disabled toilet facility on the ground floor. Where there are only two or three steps, a ramp will be in place to ensure easy access, including a small ramp being available in the Chapel and outside patio area.

What time can the bar stay open until?

Are candles permitted?

Is there disabled or wheelchair access?

Your private bar can remain open until midnight.

Due to it’s historic nature our building is very delicate. Please let us know your particular requirements and we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Our Main Entrance, Dining Rooms, Chapel and toilet facilities are located on the ground floor. Where there are only two or three steps, ramps will be placed for easy access.

Are pets permitted at the Venue?

Do we need to provide our own dance floor?

Can we bring our own caterer? Unfortunately we do not permit other caterers if hiring our Main Dining Room or Boardroom, however if hiring our grounds for a marquee an outside caterer is permitted.

Only assistance dogs are allowed in the building and grounds.

Can we bring our own wine? St James is fully licensed and has a perfect range of wine and champagne that complements the menu. Should you wish to supply your own wine for your wedding day a corkage fee will be applied. Please ask us for further details.

How many car spaces do you have? We have a maximum of 53 allocated car park spaces. Some further parking can be provided if needed, please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Our Main Dining Room has flooring that is suitable for dancing, if you would like to have something a little different such as an LED dance floor we would of course welcome this.

What time would the music be able to play until? All music must finish at 12.30am.

Are Chinese lanterns permitted? What colour is the table linen? Standard white linen is included in your hire. You would be welcome to hire your own coloured linen if preferred and we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Is Confetti allowed?

Chinese lanterns are not permitted.

How many guests can be seated at the round tables?

Are battery fairy lights permitted?

A maximum of 8/10 guests can be seated per table.

Fairy lights are permitted. As our building is extremely delicate, please make sure that they are not attached to any interior or exterior walls. We can discuss the possibilities with you.

Of course, we ask guests that they only bring biodegradable confetti or rose petals.
