Now Accepting Lost & Found Dogs! In an effort to keep lost/stray dogs and our local residents safe, FurEver Home, Inc. will begin to take in strays. Should you need us to take in a dog you have found and cannot keep please message our page or call 402-979-8800 and we will make arrangements to take them in. Please do not take a stray dog local to the Dodge County area to Omaha or Lincoln. This could pose a difficult to nonexistent chance that the dog and its owner will be reunited. It also puts you at risk while trying to transport or handle a dog unknown to you. As a quick reminder - be sure to license and microchip your pets! This is a quick and cheap way to help your pet find their way back to you in the event they are ever lost. Also make sure you keep the microchip information up to date at all times - change of contact information, address, etc. Hope you are all enjoying your summer!

THANK YOU ! BIG shout out to DJ'S Pet Care for their continued support of our rescue!

Meet June - the Homestead Rescue June was rescued last month from Homestead Lake between Abie and Bruno. She was dumped there. She was alone and barely surviving. She was malnourished severely sunburned and had a skin infection on top of that from being infested with fleas and ticks and fly bites. No one knows how long June had been there. Two angels called Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue (MPSCR) asking for their help and MPSCR contacted us to see if we could help! Our volunteer, Tara, jumped on the case immediately and left right away to rescue June. A few vet visits and a ton of love, hugs, kisses, and treats later - June is finally getting healthier and happier by the minute! Just take a look at her before and after photos below. When you donate to our rescue, you are directly helping dogs just like June. Without your help, we couldn't help these poor babies. So THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who helped by donating and spreading the word. We are beyond grateful for you! We would also like to give a very special shoutout to the Sadie Dog Fund for their help! We were very appreciative and honored when Sadie Dog Fund offered to help June! Groups like SDF make the difference to owners and rescues in times of emergency or extenuating circumstances. June is currently healing and will be up for adoption soon - follow our page to receive updates on this sweet girl!

DOG DAYS OF SUMMER Last Fall a large dog was picked up by our Dodge County Humane Society Fremont, NE. He presented with a large concerning mass that most definitely needed to be removed and biopsied. Our group networked for and found a foster so DCHS could provide "Justice" his surgery and undergo recovery comfortably in a home vs the shelter. Justice had his procedure, his biopsy came back negative for cancer and after he was all healed, his foster family formally adopted him. We received the best of updates today to hear he is doing great, weighs in at 160lbs and continues to grow, is unsure of thunderstorms but loves the pool!!!!

Check out Opal and her new sister Mystery enjoying their backyard pool! Opal was adopted a couple of months ago and is clearly enjoying every minute of her new life with her FurEver Family! Float on, Opal!

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2018 Ride to Rescue Poker Run a huge success!
