Checklist - What to submit

Project Submission Form: This form fully completed including Group Participant List Project Summary Signed consent form Project Report: A written report (max 3,000 words) of the work your group has done throughout the year along with the relevant evidence of the action e.g. video diary, photo scrapbook, CDROM, Project diary, Song/music, poetry, drama, worksheets from manual etc. *Please note: If you have 3D pieces, art/fashion pieces, decorations or large posters, photograph these pieces and submit the photos only with your report. Clearly mark your registration number on the back of each photo. Groups should consider showing scale to give a true representation of their project. Once submitted, projects cannot be returned to entrants, but will be available (on the day) for presentation at ECO Dens and on the morning of the Showcase and Awards ceremony. Groups are advised to keep copies of all project materials for their presentation at the ECO-Dens and the Showcase and Awards ceremony. ECO-UNESCO takes no responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post. We recommend you send by registered post (as you can track the status) or hand deliver to offices if nearby. Make at least 1 copy of all project items to safeguard against all eventualities. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt. Group Photo: High Resolution Photo of your group. This is the official photo used in the shortlist booklet and other promotional materials. Email to yea@ecounesco.ie or post us a soft copy on a USB/Disk. All material should be posted to ECO-UNESCO and should be labelled with your registration number. Additional materials, such as photos or videos should be burned onto a CD ROM and include with postal submission. Alternatively, use a media sharing site, such as flicker or YouTube and include the link in your postal submission. Guardian consent form: Young Environmentalist Awards 2014 ECO-UNESCO’s policy on photos/videos submitted, as part of your project, and taken during training sessions, ECO-Dens and the Awards and Showcase ceremony: • ECO-UNESCO may use images and/or video from our activities for publications and promotional purposes. • The signature of a parent or guardian (Teacher/leader) is required for young people under 18 years of age. • If participating as part of a group / school / organisation: By signing, the teacher/leader is confirming they have obtained parental permission and are acting as guardian.
