My gratitude pours over for you! Thank you so much for letting us share our worlds together. Life is so beautiful and there is so much to learn, experience + enjoy and I hope whatever your heart seeks in this season is brought to you in the fullest capacity! We’re going to take a step back with this one so we can get more to the heart of our dreams by discovering how they make us feel. Think of this as an evolving adventure that allows you to learn more about yourself, gain clarity for what you really want in and for your life and what to pursue that will actually get you there.

I was yearning for more wondering why nothing seemed to be different after I reached

my goals. I felt stuck, stale, confused and numb. Something was still missing. Turns out I found so much truth in the suggestion that it’s not necessarily the goal itself that we’re chasing but how we think reaching that goal will make us feel. So for me, a start over was in order and here we are! This experience continues to teach me more about what truly makes my heart flutter and getting to the core of how I want to feel has been playing a big role! My hope, love and desire is that this version of the

planner does the same for you.

Soul work is where we’ll start! I’m so excited to experience growth + adventure together!

feelings : LIVE YOUR LIFE BY THEM

There are many ways we each want to feel in our lives that are unique and specific to us, including you. How you want to feel in your life may be the opposite of the way I want to feel in mine but both are vital to us showing up and coming alive in our lives every day! Here’s where it started for me - The Desire Map by Danielle Laporte - it’s a raw and authentic proposal to shift our mindset around goal setting. To apply a new / different attachment to why we pursue what we pursue from a deeper level. “Goals with Soul” is how she describes this process of uncovering how we want to feel in our lives and revising our goals so that achieving them creates those feelings. Being a person that thrives on connection, this concept rang so true to my heart. Like a knock on the head, this is exactly what I’ve been trying to do this WHOLE TIME! I changed careers at 26 years old from Graphic Designer to Registered Nurse because: I wanted to feel like I was a part of something bigger than myself. That’s been my entire pursuit. That’s been my record ON.REPEAT. Naturally for my story, I thought the answer was nursing so I could be in community serving people in some sort of health capacity. But when I finally got there, that wasn’t the case. I was left with tons of feelings alright! I felt empty, disappointed, frustrated, sideswiped, apathetic and angry with a wholelotta resentment. You can imagine my heart-state after that. This opportunity to start over and dig a little deeper with this lens continues to impact my life! I’ve gotten to see how what I want is already present in my life while being more open to it all looking a little differently than I initially expected. A lot of learning to let go of what doesn’t fit anymore and seeing that as growth, not as of failure. I’m not attempting to reinvent what Danielle Laporte teaches, but to fo-sho reinforce it!

HOW TO USE YOUR :

PLANNER!

You’re probably thinking, holy chocolate cow what did I get myself into?! Don’t worry, you got this! You wouldn’t be here if this idea didn’t pull at your heart strings. You have some fun soul work to do so let’s get to it! Here’s how it shakes loose:

In these first few pages you’ll learn how it’s all set up and suggestions on how to make the most of your planner! Reminder: there’s no right or wrong, it’s your job to use it in a way that makes you feel good and inspires you to live the life you want.

Right after the intro pages you’ll notice there’s a place for you to create your Vision and give power to your Why’s by writing them down and then to set your Goals + Intentions for your new adventures. Let this be a fluid process, be open to letting yourself discover more of who you are, what you actually want + why while giving yourself the freedom to change your mind. You get to decide.

You’ll start each month with a reflection check-in to reassess what’s showing up in your life, if anything has changed & what you’ll focus on moving forward. You have a Monthly View where you’ll also rewrite and reiterate your focuses so you can see them each time you look at your month calendar. You’ll get heart-centered in the Weekly section by keeping how you most want to feel in the forefront, picking 3 main things to focus on and choosing to structure each day with those in mind. (see the next page for more) Of course let’s not forget the importance of movement + hydration for your health - there’s a reminder and space each day for both.

Sometimes we get caught up pursuing a list instead of pursuing a life when it comes to our goals. By all means pursue anything that you want, I encourage exploration! I just also invite you to know why you’re going after it in the first place.

Discover the feelings behind your goals, behind what you want most in life and start designing your day with them in mind. They may change week to week, month to month or they may stay the same. Just keep them as your focus when prioritizing your 3 things to complete each week and watch how your world changes! This can be used for prioritizing your top 3 tasks for the day, expressing gratitude in 3 ways or for habits you’re trying to track. You can mix it up, change how you use it each day or from week to week. Each of our journey’s are different so use this section in a way that feels good to you! If you wake up in the morning with a swarm of things going through your mind, get them down here. Appointments, work meetings, grocery shopping, to-do lists, assignments, soccer practice etc. It’s not about completing everything you write here, it’s to help you organize + prioritize your day so you can feel the best!
