PLUG INTO FUMC How to Join At First United Methodist Church we seek to be a community of Christ followers. You do not have to join the church to participate in worship, classes, missions and ministries. But if you would like to make a commitment to begin or continue your journey with Christ, membership is an excellent way to live out this covenant. For more information about membership contact Rev. Christy Sharp. Membership Expectations Attend worship regularly Participate in at least one class, retreat, study, or spiritual formation event each year Serve in a ministry or mission Make a financial commitment to the church 4-Step Membership Process Step 1: Contact Christy Sharp (firstname.lastname@example.org, 828.693.4275) Step 2: Attend Plugged In Session This introduction to First United Methodist Church (FUMC) is an informal way to learn more about the church.
