General Motors’ Ram Jet engine includes an exclusive 9” intake system that clears the hood without worry, MEFI 4 engine management controller, new wiring harness, and modern electronic port fuel injection. This engine package has the appearance of a classic Rochester mechanical injection system with the reliability of a modern General Motors engine. A hydraulic roller camshaft and Vortec heads with a 9:4:1 compression ratio allows the engine to use pump-gas and leaves room for power modifications. Tremec 5-speed manual transmission is paired with the Ram Jet and is silky smooth with every gear change. Keeping the new performance engine cool is an aluminum radiator that is more than enough to keep the engine temperature in check even on hot days. Power front disc brakes and rear drums stop the car without any worry. The rear-end is original with upgraded replacement parts; while the front-end has been completely revised with new independent suspension geometry and “I Did It” tilting steering column with power steering too.
