The Gran Pasacalle (parade) takes place on Saturday 14th from 11h30 with a show of colours and happiness created in the most part by the population and that has become one of the greatest clown parades in Europe. After the parade, the activities and show start simultaneously on the stages and won’t end until well into the night with workshops of laughter therapy, balloon

twisting, clown initiation, artistic make-up, soap bubbles and juggling for the younger public and the “great pie battle” for the whole family. There are various areas with specific activities such as the NGO charity area, the market, the fair attractions, a music area, dance area, recycling area and the Hospitran area with a laughter fair and charity activities. For the more nocturnal visitors, the “Fiesta Perraka Clown” proposes a fun show animated by Dj-Clowns that has become more and more popular amongst the public. Visits will also be organised at Fuerteventura’s Hospital, in the schools and the village will be totally dedicated to the festival where shopkeepers even decorate their shop windows and propose promotions and special offers.

The more than 10 stages also include the circus tent located on the beach turning the beach into a true circus fair. The festival includes other activities including the Didactic Note Cards of the Chanita Clown, one of the most interesting actions promotion with new public linked to education and the promotion of values in all the island’s schools. Charity Galas will also take place on Wednesday 11th September in Corralejo’s Auditorium and on 12th September in Puerto del Rosario’s Auditorium. The Tran Tran Festival will end on Sunday with a novelty, a day that combines laughter with activities on the beach and the popular “pie battle”.
