Corralejo’s 2014 Carnivals The Groups of the Municipality’s Carnival agreed last month, during a meeting with the Festivities and Youth Councillor of La Oliva’s Ayuntamiento, Oliver González, for the allegory of Corralejos’ 2014 Carnival of Carnivals to be the Terror. During this meeting that took place at Corralejo’s Nautical School, various proposals were analysed and all groups present unanimously agreed on the choice of the allegory. For 2013, the chosen allegory for Corralejo’s Carnivals was the Caribbean. Décision pour que la terreur soit l’allégorie des Carnavals de Corralejo de 2014 Les groupes du Carnaval de la Municipalité se sont mis d’accord le mois dernier pendant une réunion avec le Conseiller des Fêtes et de la Jeunesse de l’Ayuntamiento de la Oliva, Oliver González, pour que l’allégorie du Carnaval des Carnavals de Corralejo de 2014 soit la terreur. Durant cette réunion dans l’Ecole Nautique de Corralejo, ils analysèrent les propositions et se sont mis d’accord unanimement parmi tous les groupes présents à la réunion. En 2013, l’allégorie des Carnavals de Corralejo fut les Caraïbes. JUAN RAMÓN LUCAS Y SANDRA IBARRA VISITAN EL MUNICIPIO El concejal de Turismo del Ayuntamiento, Marcelino Umpiérrez, recibió la visita del periodista Juan Ramón Lucas y Sandra Ibarra, presidenta de la Fundación que lleva su mismo nombre. Lucas e Ibarra disfrutaron de un día de sol y playa en Corralejo y la isla de Lobos un día después de su asistencia, en Tarajalejo, a la segunda edición de la Cena Solidaria “Por la sonrisa de un niño”, promovida por la Asociación de Empresarios de Hostelería y Turismo de Fuerteventura (AEHTF), con la colaboración del Cabildo, el Patronato insular de Turismo y la Federación Insular de Madres, Padres y Alumnos (FIMAPA). Ambos trasladaron al concejal de La Oliva su pasión y fascinación personal por el norte de Fuerteventura y Lobos, a los que acuden con cierta periodicidad para disfrutar de unos días de descanso para recargar pilas antes de reincorporarse a sus respectivas responsabilidades en el mundo de la comunicación y la lucha contra el cáncer. JUAN RAMÓN LUCAS UND SANDRA IBARRA BESUCHEN DIE GEMEINDE Der Beauftragte für Tourismus der Gemeinde, Marcelino Umpiérrez, empfing den Journalisten Juan Ramón Lucas und Sandra Ibarra, die Präsidentin der Stiftung, die ihren Namen trägt. Lucas und Ibarra verbrachten einen schönen Tag am Strand von Corralejo und auf dem Eiland Lobos, nachdem sie in Tarajalejo am zweiten solidarischen Abendessen teilgenommen hatten. Diese Veranstaltung wird unter dem Motto „Für das Lächeln eines Kindes” vom Verband der Unternehmer aus dem Gaststättengewerbe und aus der Tourismusbranche von Fuerteventura (AEHTF) organisiert und vom Cabildo, dem Patronat
für Tourismus der Insel und der Insel-Föderation von Müttern, Vätern und Schülern (FIMAPA) unterstützt. Beide Besucher übermittelten dem Beauftragten für Tourismus aus La Oliva, dass sie vom Norden von Fuerteventura und von Lobos begeistert sind. Sie kommen dort regelmäßig hin, um sich einige Tage lang auszuruhen und zu erholen, bevor sie sich wieder ihren Aufgaben in den Medien und im Kampf gegen Krebs widmen. M. Lucas and Mrs. Ibarra enjoyed a day in the sun on the beach in Corralejo and on Lobos a day after attending the second edition of the Charity Dinner “Por la Sonrisa de un niño” (For a child’s smile), promoted by the Association of the Hotel and Tourism Industry of Fuerteventura (AEHTF), with the collaboration of the Cabildo, the Island’s Tourism Board and the Island Federation of Mothers, Fathers and Students (FIMAPA). Both told the councillor of La Oliva about their passion and fascination for the north of Fuerteventura and Lobos island, where they regularly come to for a few days in order to rest and recharge their batteries before going back to their respective responsibilities in the world of communication and flight against cancer.

Lucas et Mme Ibarra ont profité d’un jour de soleil et de plage dans Corralejo et sur l’Ile de Lobos un jour après leur assistance à Tarajalejo à la deuxième édition du Dîner Solidaire « Pour le sourire d’un enfant », promu par l’Association des Entreprises de l’Hôtellerie et du Tourisme de Fuerteventura (AEHTF), avec la collaboration du Cabildo et du Conseil Régional du Tourisme de Fuerteventura et de la Fédération Insulaire des Mères, Pères et Élèves (FIMAPA). Les deux ont fait part au Conseiller de La Oliva de leur passion et fascination personnelle pour le Nord de Fuerteventura et de Lobos où ils viennent régulièrement
pour profiter des quelques jours de repos pour recharger leurs batteries avant de retrouver leurs responsabilités respectives dans le monde de la communication et de la lutte contre le cancer.
ARREGLO DE ZONAS AJARDINADAS E INSTALACIONES MUNICIPALES EN LA PARED La Concejalía de Obras Municipales, Parques y Jardines del Ayuntamiento ha llevado a cabo una serie de acometidas en el pueblo de La Pared. Entre ellas, cabe destacar la poda, arreglo y limpieza de las zonas ajardinadas; el arreglo de los desperfectos en las paredes y techo del centro cultural; la reparación de muros, limpieza y adecentamiento de la Plaza Pública. También, se han realizado obras de reparación y pintado en el CEIP La Pared.
HERRICHTUNG DER BEPFLANZTEN ZONEN UND DER ÖFFENTLICHEN EINRICHTUNGEN IN LA PARED Das Amt für öffentliche Bauarbeiten, Parks und Gärten führte mehrere Arbeiten in dem Ort La Pared durch. Dazu gehört das Beschneiden der Bäume, die Herrichtung und Reinigung von bepflanzten Zonen, die Reparatur des Daches und der Wände des Kulturzentrums, Reparatur von Mauern und die Reinigung des öffentlichen Platzes. Außerdem wurden im Schulzentrum von La Pared Reparaturen und Malerarbeiten ausgeführt. Maintenance work on the gardens and municipal buildings in La Pared The Council for Municipal Maintenance, Parks and Gardens of the Ayuntamiento has carried out a series of maintenance work in the village of La Pared. Amongst others, work included pruning, fixing and cleaning the gardens; fixing walls of the roof of the Cultural Centre; repairing walls, cleaning and embellishing the Public Square. Repairs and painting was also carried out on the CEIP school of La Pared.
