El viernes, Three Bones, Thomas Figueroa Blues Proyect y The Brew ofrecieron buena música, las dos primeras formaciones más enfocadas en el blues, mientras que la potencia y el desparrame de The Brew pueden calificarse más cerca del rock & roll, e incluso, del heavy metal, al recoger su música la esencia del rock de los años 60 y 70. En paralelo, algunas bandas de blues han actuado durante el fin de semana por las calles y plazas de Corralejo, y también el estupendo guitarrista Francisco Simón, de Red House, ofreció una master class en el centro Cultural de Corralejo.
Die Zuschauer werden das Konzert Samstagnacht nicht vergessen, denn es traten einige Blues-Größen auf. Sie sahen die Perfektion von Michael Roach, die Eleganz von Nico Backton & Wizards of Blues und die unvergleichbaren Red House. Am Freitag machten Three Bones, Thomas Figueroa Blues Proyect und The Brew gute Musik. Die ersten beiden Gruppen spielten vor allem Blues, während The Brew mit ihrer Power und ihrem Gaudi dem Rock & Roll und sogar dem Heavy Metal näher sind, da ihre Musik die Essenz des Rock der 60er und der 70e-Jahre enthält. Einige Bluesgruppen traten am Wochenende auch in Straßen und auf Plätzen von Corralejo auf. Auch der tolle Gitarrist Francisco Simón von Red House war mit dabei. Er gab eine Meisterklasse im Kulturzentrum von Corralejo.

challenge; they were all members of the Triathlon Federation of the Canaries. Many spectators gathered to see the start of this sport in the main street and for the swimming races in Chico Harbour. This challenge was for the “sprint” category where athletes had to swim over 750 metres, cycle 20 kilometres and run 5 kilometres. The winner of this first edition of Triathlon Island of Fuerteventura, organised by Club Pujamen, finished in 58 minutes 40 seconds from the start of the swimming stage. The second place went to Joel González from Gran Canaria, from the under-23 years old category from Tricán, and in third position we had Orlando Delgado of Club Medusa from Tenerife with 59,54. In the Feminine category, the undeniable victory went to Isora Sosa who arrived in 43rd position in the joint general ranking with 1 hour 9 minutes and 15 seconds, with Almuneda Rodríguez (Tricán) in second place with 1 hour 10,39 and in third place Inmaculada Chacón of Club Columbus with 1hour 16,18.

The sixth edition of the International Corralejo Blues Festival, organised by the Culture department of La Oliva’s Ayuntamiento brought complete enjoyment for hundreds of spectators who gathered on Patricio Calero square two nights in a row. Jeff Espinoza, singer and guitarist of the “Red House” quartet improvised the “Corralejo Blues” during a memorable act on Saturday which was a reference composition for this festival. Red House can’t help themselves: they are a show of their own every time they set foot on stage. Saturday night was memorable thanks to some of the best Blues Bands who got together: the perfection of Michael Roach, the elegance of Nico Backton & Wizards of Blues and the incomparable Red House. Friday was animated with good music from Three Bones, Thomas Figueroa Blues Proyect and The Brew with the first two more focused on blues while The Brew were closer to rock & roll or even heavy metal with their music inspired from the 60’s and 70’s rock. In parallel, some blues bands played during the weekend in the streets and squares of Corralejo as well as the amazing guitarist Fransisco Simón of Red House who held a master class in Corralejo’s Cultural Centre.

Das sechste internationale Blues-Festival von Corralejo, das vom Amt für Kultur der Gemeinde von La Oliva organisiert wird, begeisterte Hunderte von Personen, die zwei Nächte lang den Platz Plaza de Patricio Calero füllten. Jeff Espinoza, der Sänger und Gitarrist des Quartetts ‘Red House’ improvisierte an diesem Samstag bei einem unvergesslichen Konzert den ‘Corralejo Blues’, ein Musikstück, das für dieses Festival eine große Bedeutung hat. Die Gruppe Red House kann einfach nicht anders: Wenn sie eine Bühne betritt, zieht sie immer eine große Show ab.
Omar Delgado del club Tridente Tinajo, de Lanzarote, e Isora Sosa, del club grancanario Big Dutchman, han sido los campeones absolutos del I Triatlón Isla de Fuerteventura que se celebró en Corralejo. En esta prueba participaron más de un centenar de deportistas, que previamente debían de estar federados en la Federación Canaria de Triatlón. La prueba comenzó arropada por una gran afluencia de personas que acudieron a contemplar el espectáculo deportivo por la calle principal, o a las carreras de natación en el Muelle Chico. Esta prueba tenía la categoría de sprint, en la que los competidores en natación tuvieron que superar una distancia de 750 metros, mientras que en ciclismo la distancia del recorrido estaba fijada en 20 kilómetros, y la carrera estuvo delimitada a 5 kilómetros. Organizado por el Club Pujamen, en esta primera edición del Triatlón Isla de Fuerteventura, el ganador absoluto invirtió un tiempo total de 58 minutos 40 segundos desde que se diera la salida de natación. En segunda posición entraría el grancanario sub23 del Tricán, Joel González, con un crono de 59.45, mientras que en tercera posición llegaría Orlando Delgado del club tinerfeño Medusa con 59.54. En categoría femenina, victoria incuestionable de Isora Sosa que llegaría en el puesto 43 de la general conjunta absoluta con un tiempo de 1 hora 9 minutos 15 segundos, con Almudena Rodríguez (Tricán) en segundo lugar con 1 h. 10.39, mientras que el tercer puesto sería para Inmaculada Chacón del club Columbus con 1 h. 16.18.

Omar Delgado aus dem Club Tridente Tinajo, Lanzarote, und Isora Sosa aus dem Club Big Dutchman, Gran Canaria, waren die absoluten Meister der Dreikampfmeisterschaft „Triatlón Isla de Fuerteventura“, die in Corralejo stattfand. An diesem Wettkampf nahmen mehr als hundert Sportler teil, die sich vorher in der kanarischen Dreikampf-Föderation anmelden mussten. Es kamen zahlreiche Zuschauer zu den Wettkämpfen in der Hauptstraße und zu den Schwimmwettkämpfen am Muelle Chico. In der Sprint-Kategorie mussten die Sportler eine 750 Meter lange Strecke schwimmen, die Radstrecke dagegen war 20 Kilometer und das Rennen 5 Kilometer. Bei diesem ersten Dreikampf der Insel Fuerteventura, der von dem Club Pujamen organisiert wurde, brauchte der absolute Gewinner insgesamt 58 Minuten und 40 Sekunden, nachdem er mit dem Schwimmen begonnen hatte. Auf den zweiten Platz kam Joel González, ein unter 23-Jähriger aus Gran Canaria, der dem Tricán angehört. Auf den dritten Platz kam Orlando Delgado, der dem Club Medusa aus Teneriffa angehört, mit 59,54. Bei den Frauen war die unangefochtene Siegerin Isora Sosa, die auf Platz 43 der gesamten Meisterschaft kam. Sie brauchte eine Stunde, 9 Minuten und 15 Sekunden. Almudena Rodríguez (Tricán) kam auf den zweiten Platz, sie hatte eine Stunde und 10,39 Minuten gebraucht. Auf den dritten Platz kam Inmaculada Chacón Aus dem Club Columbus mit eine Stunde und 16,18 Min.
EL CLUB DEPORTIVO DE NATACIÓN ‘LEBRANCHO’ SE PRESENTA EN SOCIEDAD
El Club Deportivo de Natación “Lebrancho” de La Oliva, se ha presentado en sociedad con un programa de trabajo recién estrenado. Los asistentes, en su mayoría, padres y madres de alumnos del club tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer a fondo el programa de trabajo, así como los detalles que señalaban el punto de arranque y su proyección a corto y medio plazo. Acabada la exposición que tuvo lugar en el Centro Cultural de Raíz del Pueblo, las personas asistentes se desplazaron hasta las instalaciones de la piscina municipal. Allí, se realizó una exhibición de los niños y niñas pertenecientes tanto al Club de Natación como a las Escuelas Municipales, en la que los alumnos pusieron en práctica sus destrezas en los diferentes estilos.
