FRESHMAN ADMISSION Freshman admission is a selective process, and no single criterion guarantees admission. We consider all the documentation students submit and carefully review their academic records and test scores to ensure they are prepared for the rigorous curriculum at Florida State. If an applicant is deferred in December, we will expect to see mid-year grades updated in SSAR and additional test scores prior to making a final decision. For complete admission requirements, visit pc.fsu.edu/Admissions and click “Requirements.” ACT/SAT INFORMATION We require freshman applicants to submit at least one ACT and/or SAT test score to be considered for admission. For the first time, students will be able to self-report their ACT and/or SAT scores. Students will input their SAT and/or ACT scores on the application checklist at admissions.fsu.edu/StatusCheck. As with the Self-reported Student Academic Record (SSAR), admitted students will need to submit all official test scores by mid-July. NEW ACADEMIC OPPORTUNITIES This year, our new undergraduate majors are Commercial Entrepreneurship and Hospitality Management and Tourism.
