Welcome to the Sydney Russell Sixth Form The Sydney Russell School is one of the biggest and most successful schools in the country and its Sixth Form is well established. We are relentless in our pursuit of academic excellence. We offer outstanding A Level teaching with lessons delivered by highly qualified subject specialists; world class facilities; a bespoke programme to facilitate university applications and a rich and varied enrichment curriculum. In 2018 we were selected as an OLEVI Designated Centre of Excellence in teaching and learning, the only school in London to receive the award.

“I left Sydney Russell in 2019 and I am currently in my final year of reading Law at Cambridge. The subject knowledge of my teachers and expertise, and the school’s enrichment programme, gave me invaluable skills and enabled me to gain a place at an internationally renowned university, for which I am most grateful.” Michael Tucker - University of Cambridge

Our Guarantee to Students We only offer A Level courses in the 16+ Centre so our cohort is comprised of like-minded students who are ambitious and eager for further academic success. • Lessons are taught by highly qualified, experienced subject specialists. • All the resources and equipment necessary for subjects are provided free of charge. Students are given their own copies of text books and relevant texts and encouraged to annotate them. • We offer a well-structured careers programme, based on the assumption that most students will progress to Russell Group universities. • There is an additional programme designed to prepare students for application to Oxford and Cambridge. The programme includes mentoring by Oxford and Cambridge graduates, teaching staff and admissions tutors, as well as visits to a range of colleges. • We provide an array of enrichment activities.
