The focus of our traditional program has always centered on helping our students develop intellectually, socially and spiritually inside and outside the classroom. Our caring and dedicated faculty members work closely with students to help them achieve their long-held dreams or find a path that is their true calling. Students can choose from more than 40 undergraduate degrees with numerous pre-professional options to find the degree that is right for them. Learning opportunities outside the classroom, including internships, service projects, research projects and studying abroad, prepare our students for work in the real world.
UNIQUE specialties
We have a well-earned reputation in the region for offering outstanding fine arts programs. Our Ballet program is exceptional, and we are only one of several universities in the nation to offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ballet. Zoo Science is unique at a national level due to our 10-year-plus partnership with the Sedgwick County Zoo. Zoo Science students take traditional courses on campus and specialized courses at the zoo, where they gain practical experience working with zoo personnel and animal exhibits.

The heart and soul of Friends University will always be those students who come for a complete university experience through the College of Business, Arts, Sciences and Education. Traditional undergraduate students enroll in multiple classes by semester and participate in athletics, fine arts, campus ministries, campus organizations and other student activities. Their enthusiasm and energy make the Wichita campus a vibrant, dynamic and rewarding place to be.
