About the Scholarship The Friends University Wichita Alumni Advisory Board Endowed Scholarship Honoring James Arbertha was established in 2009 by the Wichita Alumni Advisory Board and is designed to help deserving students from northeast central Wichita who wish to attend Friends University. The scholarship is named in honor of James Arbertha, who has been active in efforts to revitalize this Wichita area.
