hief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who was in Gurgaon on Wednesday to address the media on the completion of 100 days of his government, said that an online system to track citizen grievances that have been lodged at the 'CM Windows' across Haryana would be started soon. A Call Centre would also be set up to interact with the complainants, to check the status of their problems and whether these have been resolved to their satisfaction. He said that this system would help to streamline the grievance redressal system

across the State. It is most commendable that a newto-politics CM had boldly invited scrutiny within just 100 days of taking charge. Could Mr. Khattar, the lowprofile, honest, down-toearth worker just surprise all the pundits? He seems to be focused on delivering 'achhe din' to 'aam log'. CM Khattar also cited examples of how the new system has helped in curbing corruption and bringing people in direct touch with the government. Khattar also informed that about 17,000 complaints pertaining to different issues have been received by the government, and of these 3,380 complaints have been addressed and a report on the same has

been submitted. CM Khattar added that he is pleased that people are showing faith in this system. The CM added that, to curb

large-scale irregularities in the Real Estate sector, his government was working to make the CLU (Change of Land Use) system transparent. He assured the public that corruption and violations of rules would not be tolerated by his government. CM Khattar stated that the Vigilance department has already caught culprits and registered more cases in 100 days than the previous govt. had registered in the last 10 years! To provide a boost to industry, an Industrial Policy 2015 will be rolled out by March end. To augment power supply, the CM said that two 800 MW plants would be set up, in Panipat and Yamunanagar. Along with the

CM, some other dignitaries present were: PWD Minister Rao Narbir Singh, MLAs Umesh Agarwal, Tejpal Tanwar and Vimla Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to CM, Sanjeev Kaushal, Director General of Information and Public Relations Department, Dr. Abhilaksh Likhi, Media Advisor to CM Amit Arya, and OSD (Media) to CM, Rajkumar Bhardwaj. In Gurgaon, the CM Window was ‘inaugurated’ on December 25 by PWD Minister Rao Narbir Singh. The system seems to have got off to a good start, as the first complainant, Ramesh Vashishta, says that his issue is being looked into by the Administration. Contd. on p 3
