NEW YEAR’S EVE EVENTS

It’s finally here - the biggest (and last) holiday of 2013. New Year’s provides a variety of fun for all ages in our region. Family parties, special nights at the theatre, comedy shows, festivities in local pubs & clubs, fireworks and more are planned here in our community as we gather together to Welcome 2014! by Sue Cannon •Downtown Rochester’s New Year’s Eve Celebration includes free ice skating at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park Ice Rink (formerly known as the Manhattan Square Park Ice Rink) with music by Beal’s Rock & Roll Review. There will be a family skate from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by an adult-only skate from 9 to 11. There will also be a free celebration

downtown at the Riverside Convention Center, 123 E. Main Street, from 7 to 10 p.m., complete with a DJ Dance Party featuring Jimmy C’s Music Machine, bounce houses, an obstacle course, airbrush tattoos, photo booths, caricature artists, magicians, clowns and more.
