We build...

…foundations Welcome to Freemont Construction, the main contracting arm of the Freemont Group. Ever since we began as a refurbishment and fit-out specialist in 2000, our growth in terms of the expertise of our people, the expectations of our clients and the experience gained across a wide portfolio of projects ensures that Freemont Construction is built on the sturdiest of foundations. This experience underpins every new build or major refurbishment we undertake; from £100k to £5m, our clients know that we have an award-winning reputation for delivery.

Our dynamic management team comprises trade, technical and academic know-how; ensuring the most creative and comprehensive service which appreciates not just the built environment, but the social and political arenas within which it exists. “ Successful delivery of a project is the only acceptable outcome. It’s the point we work back from and the outcome on which we remain focused. It is - quite literally - the bottom line”.

Dave Holker

Assistant Site Manager, was a labourer three years ago and is now on our management development programme.

…character Excellence in construction is our mission; honesty, talent and integrity help us accomplish it. But we know that experience in construction isn’t enough to justify assumptions; we make sure we take time to understand the detail of all our clients’ requirements. Only then can we go on to meet and exceed them. Freemont are passionate about construction but we also value our staff, suppliers and work associates and in this we invest in social responsibility.

Through investment in the environment, obtaining a good life/work balance, training, staff development and charitable work we are helping the broader team enjoy their time working with Freemont. With Freemont Construction you get the whole package dedicated to providing you with a unique service.

“ The true mark of character is a determination to exceed expectations and that is our benchmark with clients. We are constantly striving to do that little bit extra”. Martin Wood, MD

…futures Quality workmanship is our stake in the future, but appreciating the benefits that arise as a result of caring about the welfare of our staff and the communities where we work is also central to a longterm commitment to succeed. We have been members of the Investors in People scheme since 2005 and this has helped us focus on the needs of our staff for the future.

On an environmental level, we work with Lower Moss Wood; an educational nature reserve and animal hospital in Cheshire. We’ve recently helped complete the building of a new aviary at the wood. And we have looked at new ways of recruiting tradesmen into the industry. We support the Working Ventures Ltd initiative, sponsored by the government to support ex-offenders back into employment. “ All of our staff want to be in a company that thinks about the future, their careers, prospects and lifestyle. At Freemont Construction we focus on staff, training, development and our culture, this is what makes the difference” Martin Wood, MD

“ Having our own gym in the office is a great idea, and it really makes you more health conscious.” Andrew Hilton, Commercial Manager.
