1 Bridging news and action By providing opportunities or calls to action directly tied to news articles, the news reader becomes empowered to become involved from the moment of discovery. 2 Transparency in NGOs To address issues of trust among NGOs , especially those dealing with donations of all varieties, it is important to conceive a framework or regulating body to provide metrics of progress and effectiveness. With more transparency, non-governmental organizations become more powerful to make the difference they believe in.
