In recent years the world of Franchise grew in substantial value. Fairs, Portals, Conferences, Meetings, Associations and Magazines are a proof of it: these activities are mostly addressed to Franchisors. ‘Best Franchisee of the World’ is a worldwide event that involves 38 Countries, whose focus are the Franchisor and its Franchisee, who are entrepreneurs expressing their competence and permanent attention towards the values and the mission of the Franchisor. ‘Best Franchisee of the World’ is a tool that helps the managers of the Franchising project to Motivate , Inspire and most of all Gratify those people who work constantly everyday to capitalise their expertize.

CONTEST REGULATIONS OF THE BEST FRANCHISEE OF THE WORLD – 2014TH EDITION ART.1 – INTRODUCTION 1.1 BFW, international organizer of the “Best Franchisee of the World” (hereinafter “BFW”) contest will appoint in each Area a Licensee (hereinafter called the Licensee) to organize and manage the national competition. The competition at the national lever will be called “Best Franchisee of the World + Selection + name of State or Area.” Licensee will perform the selection to choose the franchises that will be at the world’s final. ART.2 – PURPOSE OF THE CONTEST 2.1 Best Franchisee of the World is a celebration of the values of the franchise industry, in a prestigious setting. BFW is an award given to the best affiliates in the world on a yearly basis. The competition will focus on franchisees or Partners, entrepreneurs who express their professionalism and pay constant attention the values of the Franchisor’s network. BFW is a way to help Franchise or Partnership leaders to Motivate, Delight, and especially Gratify the franchisees who work every day to using the know how. The aim of the Competition is to designate, every year, the best Franchisee of each Franchisor and to determine the best 5 affiliates in the world. ART.3 – SPECIAL AWARDS 3.1 Best Franchisee of the World may every year, at its sole discretion, establish special prizes during the BFW ceremony. ART.4 – ADMISSION 4.1 To be admitted the contest, candidates must meet the following requirements: (a) be owners of a business activity affiliated to a network; (b) ¬not be found by any contract affecting their participation at the BFW competition; (c) not be found in any way in relationship with the jury 4.2 Admission to National selections can be made: a) Direct registration via the Licensee Headquarters b) Online registration through the website www.bestfranchiseeoftheworld.com ART.5 – HOW TO PARTICIPATE THE CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION ARE 3 5.1 Candidates meeting the qualification requirements stated in Article. 4, can be selected and receive votes from the site www.bestfranchiseeoftheworld.com The three candidates who receive the largest amount of votes will participate at the World’s final.* 5.2 Candidates meeting the qualification requirements stated in Article. 4, will be selected, in the Area where there is the Licensee, with an appropriate selection. The first three selected, will participate at the World’s final. ** 5.3 Candidates meeting the qualification requirements stated in Article. 4, will be able to participate directly at the World’s final after due registration, choosing one of the formats. ART. 6 – HOW TO PARTICIPATE AT THE AREA SELECTION 6.1 Candidates who won the national selections or area shall have the right to participate in the World’s final. 6.2 The number of finalists of each State or area has been agreed between the registered licensee and the BFW. 6.3 The Jury for the Area or National selection must be composed by a number between 3 and 8 members. If the selection is done by online voting, there will be no need of the jury and the three most voted will participate. ART. 7 – HOW TO PARTICIPATE AT THE WORLD’S FINAL 7.1 Each Franchisor or Network Partner must deliver to BFW a 30-second video telling its entrepreneurial history and its Franchisee or Partner’s qualities and will also have to fill out the appropriate information form. Everything must be delivered within and no later than 20 days from the World’s final. 7.2 BFW will deliver the material received by the franchisor to the international jury. 7.3 There will be evaluated only candidates meeting the selection criteria and who will be attending the gala.

ART. 8 THE WORLD’S FINAL 8.1 At the World’s final will participate all finalists of the selections as stated on the Art.5 of the present document. 8.2 During the final will be made public the names of the candidates who will compete for the title of Best Franchisee of the World. The BFW Organization. 8.3 The assignment of the Best Franchisee of the World award will be given by the International Jury. The jury will be composed from 5 to 12 jurors internationally renowned and will determine the top 5 international Franchisee or Partner as well as other special prizes. 8.4 The BFW organization will ask to the most representative Associations to identify a juror, BFW identifies one juror. 8.5 The jury will focus on the franchisee, without being influenced by the notoriety of the brand. 8.6 Each juror will decide in his own conscience. * By participation means the right to attend the gala dinner and the event. ** The Licensee will establish what will be assigned to the winners in as well as the right to attend the gala dinner and event.
