We would recommend the readers/learners to go through this module just after the course “How to set up and manage a non-profit organisation” or, at least, the study of the Unit 1 and 6 of the same course. Bear in mind that is important to be legally established to access to funding, as well to fulfil all the mandatory tasks required to be validated. In the Unit1 of the course “How to set up and manage a non-profit organisation” (material funded by the Spanish National Agency, produced by the consortium of the project ReYion – Proj. N°2016-2-ES02-KA205-008263 and licensed to the WAO consortium trough JAA) focuses on how to establish an organisation and which documents this process will require and will produce. Those documents need to be saved and used also during the registration on the platforms to become eligible for funding.

Which documents would I need to register? • • • • •

Instrument of incorporation; Statute; 2 recent balance sheet approved (if available); Identification of the legal representative; Vat code certification (if applicable)

For European Funding you will need the financial identification and the identification of the legal entity. Those documents are on download on the Erasmus+ NAs websites (see the “European Inclusive Opportunities module) as well as in the ECAS platform (while following the registration process) For national and regional funding, please find the additional documents to be filled during the specific registration process in the specific portals (e.g. Artes for Italy/Lazio Region).

What do I need to apply for EU funding ?

• To be registered on the ECAS portal; • To have a PIC number; Remember what already said in the module “Hoe to write a project”: every funding opportunity has its own rules, including eligibility rules. In other words in this module we are on about basic eligibility requirements to access to funding. The eligibility of an organisation is based on the operational capacity, the mission, the legal form and the experience. The specific eligibility is mentioned in every call for proposal description.
