Summer Camps No Child Left Inside Summer Camp at Blackberry Farm

Aquatic Investigations

Campers will fill their days with outdoor activities, games, crafts and visits to the historic sites. This program has scheduled activities throughout the day and includes weekly field trips. A deposit of $200 is required at registration for each four-week session. The balance for the first session is due by June 4. The balance for the second session is due by July 2. No camp on July 4. Camp is for children in grades 1 to 5 as of fall 2012. (LB)

Discover what’s lurking in the mud down at Lippold Pond! Learn what a wetland is and why they are so important to humans and animals. Everyone will play games and use dip nets, fishing poles and other tools to help investigate the pond. Wear clothes and shoes to get wet and muddy in as everyone will be exploring in the water! Bring a change of shoes and a towel for afterward. (MG)

Outdoor Explorers Explore some of the beautiful parks in Illinois. Each day will be filled with exciting outdoor activities during this adventure camp. Activities may include: rock climbing, biking, white water rafting and hiking. The week concludes with an optional overnight campout at a state park. Schedule is subject to change.
