Thankful for a Full Plate this November

Jeff Genthner Senior Vice President, General Manager

November is Thanksgiving month…”Turkey Day” we called it as kids. Did you know that 3.5 ounces of turkey breast…a slice about the thickness of a deck of playing cards…has a whopping 30 grams of protein? And did you know that protein is an important building block of bones & muscles? Well, with the heavy line-up of NBA, college football and basketball we are serving up this November, the entire FOX Sports South staff will need as much turkey protein as it can digest. New this year we’re heaping up a serving of the New Orleans Hornets in portions of MS and AL. Also new this year, our viewers in KY will get a healthy portion of Memphis Grizzlies and Indiana Pacers games. That’s more NBA basketball on top of the full line-up of Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Bobcats and Grizzlies games we’ve always served up in the past. And if that’s not enough, we’re serving up a full course of college basketball as well from the ACC, SEC, Conference USA, Big 12 and Pac-12. Make room on your plate for Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida State, Memphis and so much more. Hey, don’t push back from the table just yet, there’s still plenty of college football remaining too! The ACC, Big 12 and Conference USA. Are you stuffed yet? Well do what we do after a big Thanksgiving dinner….grab the most comfy chair in the den and spend a few hours watching all the great sports FOX Sports South and SportSouth have to offer. From everyone in the FOX Sports family, THANK YOU for being such wonderful partners throughout the year. Happy Thanksgiving!
