ou’ve probably noticed that we feature one of our MWR eateries each month. We like to let you know where each one is and what they feature on their menu. This month, we’re focusing on a couple of lesser-known places that feature our Battle Bean brand with take-away breakfasts and lunches! We sometimes mention these satellite locations — do Café Lancelatte and the Stone Education Center Battle Bean sound familiar? They’re both conveniently located — for students taking classes at Stone Ed and while you’re getting paperwork processed at McChord Field’s customer service mall. 6

The baristas at Battle Bean inside Stone Ed know you’re usually in a rush and can get you in and out in a dash with a smile. Take-aways include breakfast items, such as huge muffins (clip the coupon on this spread for discounted muffins during August). Lunch items include burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups and sides, plus a refrigerator full of beverages. Be sure to pick up a Battle Bean coffee punch card while you’re there. Café Lancelatte is open from 6:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. weekdays and serves freshly made-to-order coffee drinks, Italian sodas and bottled beverages like those offered at Battle Beans at Lewis.
