Happy New Year from far west Texas!
2019 came in cold, frosty, and foggy for folks west of the Pecos River. High temps for the first day of the new year hovered between ice-cold and wintry. However, the chilly weather didn't stop this group of hearty hikers from taking on the First Day Hike over at Davis Mountains State Park! The First Day Hike led by Ranger Ty saw the intrepid adventurers ascend to the Limpia Canyon Overlook, the highest point within the State Park's boundaries. Photos courtesy of Davis Mountains S.P.
