Outdoor Recreation (ODR) provides morale-building, lifestyleoriented activities and programs for service members worldwide. Dating back to 1971, ODR offers programs for everyone. Patrons can enjoy everything from swimming, mountain biking, rock climbing and fishing to white water rafting, and more. Clay Target Center (CTC) is one of the largest shotgun shooting facilities in the state of North Carolina. Located outside Fort Bragg in Spring Lake CTC is open to the public. All levels, from beginners to experts, are welcome. On the 3rd Saturday of each month CTC hosts Intro to Clay Shooting, a basic shotgun introduction and a Trap/Skeet class. Registration is required, call 910-436-9489 for more details. Spend your summer at Cleland Ice Rink & Skate Park! Cleland offers year-round skating and has a comprehensive ice skating program, to include open skating, group and private lessons, figure skating clubs, parties (schools, units and special interest groups) and private ice rental. Bring the whole family out to Smith Lake Beach for some fun in the sun! The Smith Lake Beach Grand Opening weekend May 27th – 30th from 11 am – 6 pm for fun themed days. Smith Lake Beach will be open through September 5th every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am – 6 pm. Be sure to check our website for rules and regulations. ODR also provides programming for Wounded Warriors, children with special needs and Soldiers returning from deployment. In fact, ODR’s Warrior Adventure Quest uses outdoor challenges to help recently redeployed Soldiers safely integrate into a noncombat environment.

What better way to enjoy the summer than out on the golf course? Fort Bragg Golf Junior Summer Camps focuses on creating Fort Bragg is the home of Stryker and Ryder Golf Courses.
