FOOT FACTS by Dr. Eric Tepper BOARD CERTIFIED PODIATRIST, ACCPPS WART AWAY

Sometimes irritating and painful, warts that occur on the bottom of the foot are known as plantar warts. Any tiny area of open skin on the bottom of the foot is an invitation for the wart virus to enter. Plantar warts do not grow deeper into the dermis, but are typically limited to the upper layer of skin. If left untreated, plantar warts can become larger in size and may even multiply. A podiatrist can lessen, or trim, the warts, which can then be removed. Cryotherapy freezes warts using liquid nitrogen; this method may require more than one treatment. Warts may also be treated with topical medications or surgically removed under local anesthesia. While warts can occur anywhere on the body, they are most common on the hands (known as common warts) or the soles of the feet (known as plantar warts). Since any difficulties with your feet can adversely affect your comfort and lifestyle, we invite you to call us at 281-980-3668 for an appointment to maximize your health and well-being. We can promise you comprehensive foot care geared to your personal needs at 3143 Hwy. 6 South. Don't take your feet for granted - call us for an appointment.Make your next step a comfortable one - call us for an appointment. HINT: Local anesthesia is used when plantar warts are surgically removed.

Drones, The US Military “should not be a 911 Service,” While the DHS Stockpiles Ammo Outgoing Secy of Defs, Leon Panetta, said that our military “should not be a 911 service.” Who then were the four innocent lives lost in Benghazi supposed to call for backup? Our commander in chief, Secy of State and Secy of Defs still haven’t been penalized for having gone MIA during the devastating assault in Benghazi. Keeping Americans safe is the president’s No.1 duty. If this president had been a military officer and disappeared during battle, he would be court-martialed. And Hillary wants to run for the presidency when she turned her back on Benghazi? As John Bolton said, “There’s nobody home in this administration when it comes to national security.” Concern is growing across our country as to why the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) is looking to “purchase” another 21.6 million rounds of ammo after it had bought 1.6 billion rounds only 10 months ago. In comparison, our military used 70 million rounds/year during the Iraq War. This administration is intent on shattering our 2nd Amendment and leaving Afghanistan, so why the inordinate ammo purchase? Americans deserve action. Congress needs to halt any further DHS purchases—now! Why has the Justice Dept targeted American killings with drones, circumventing due process under the 14th Amendment? The president does not have the constitutional authority to unilaterally deploy military drone strikes without Congressional authorization— as that is an act of war. Did Congress again not read what the president signed into law in 2012— that the FAA is to throw American airspace wide open for drones by 9/30/15? The DHS’s 2011 report labeled U.S. potential terrorists as military veterans, pro life supporters, supporters of states’ rights or ones who are against
