Kids ‘R’ Kids: Providing the Best Educational Environment

A

t Kids ‘R’ Kids, children benefit from the latest in research-based, field-proven, early education training while incorporating play. Their exclusive Brain WavesTM curriculum provides learning experiences that enhance brain development and support neural pathways for language, social-emotional, cognitive and physical development during these critical years. Technology is everywhere, so children need healthy exposure to be prepared for life in the 21st century. Research shows, however, that hours of exposure to digital technology can lead to over stimulation of the brain, fatigue and irritability. Kids ‘R’ Kids takes a balanced approach to technology. Their curriculum has been integrated with ABCmouse, one of the latest early childhood technology tools, to enhance learning. With the guidance of a teacher, children engage in digital activities that build language, math, science and fine motor skills. Kids ‘R’ Kids is proud to share a love for teaching and is available to give school-wide tours. Their experienced, dedicated staff shares a united focus on early childhood education. In addition, their partnership with Watch Me Grow allows parents and grandparents to share photos and videos of their child’s daily activities and milestones directly from an iPhone, iPad or mobile device. Kids ‘R’ Kids Private Preschools strive to provide the best educational environment for children and a safe and nurturing place that parents can feel great about. Stop in and tour any of the facilities, and find out why Kids ‘R’ Kids is right for your family! For more information, visit www.KidsRKidsFortBend.com. fort bend

wo years ago, Robert Gifford purchased the Bill Austin Gymnastics and Dance facility, which is located next to the Sugar Land Ice Center in First Colony. Gifford named the new center Sugar Land Gymnastics, Dance and Karate (SLG). Since then, enrollment has skyrocketed and continues to climb. Gifford explained, “We have reached the 1,000 student mark and available spots in our program will now be limited.” The reason for his success? “Quality. When you have quality instruction and a quality curriculum housed in a quality, state-of-the-art facility, word spreads quickly.” In August, Gifford plans to open a second multi-purpose facility in Sienna. The new 7,000 square foot facility will offer gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, summer camp, birthday parties and Safety America Karate. SLG’s head coach, Coach Mei Liu, competed as a member of the Chinese National Team and is a USAG certified national judge. She also has 25 years of experience and has coached level four through seven State Champions. Gifford said, “We don’t believe in screaming at the kids. Positive reinforcement will get us there, and we will have a bunch of fun along the way.” Mom-and-Me classes at SLG starts kids off at eighteen-monthsold and builds skills at each and every level. SLG also offers competitive girl’s team programs, as well as recreational classes and tumbling. Call SLG at 281-240-0999 or visit www.SugarLandGymnastics.com for more information.
