ATTENTION - Auto Skills Center Patrons We apologize for any inconvenience but we will be paving the entrance to the Auto Skills Center both Monday and Tuesday, October 29 and 30. All vehicles currently in the parking area MUST be moved by Sunday October 28.

Turkey Trot 10k/ 5k

Get ready for Fort Belvoir’s Turkey Trot 10k/5k, for Saturday, November 17. Military Insignia Fair – November 4

Join us for a Military Insignia Fair, where you can buy, sell, trade or collect a variety of Military Memorabilia from all over the world and from every imaginable era. Vendors may set up between 7 to 8 a.m. Doors open to customers at 8 a.m. We’ll see you at the Community Center, Belvoir Road and Taylor Road, building 1200. Parent’s and Kid’s Night out – November 10 South Post Child Development Center offers evening childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old so parents can have a break. Wine Tasting Trips Outdoor Recreation is offering two great trips each cost $25 for transportation. The first trip is November 10 to Charlottesville, VA wineries. The second trip is December 22 to Northern Virginia wineries. Space is limited so contact Outdoor Recreation to reserve your spot at 703-805-3081.

Travel Camp Construction Area Safety The new travel camp construction is underway between Johnson and Morrow Roads. Construction signs are posted. The pedestrian trail is currently closed to allow for weekend and holiday construction on the site. If you have questions about the pedestrian walkway or the project, call 703-806-3940.


Annual Turkey Shoot Golf Tournament The Belvoir Golf Course hosts their annual Turkey Shoot Golf Tournament on November 17 with a 9:30 a.m. start on Woodlawn Golf Course. Please sign up for this great event at the Golf Pro Shop. Pro Shop hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
