FORGAN KIDS SUMMER CERAMICS CLUB

P S

After the success of the Forgan Kids Art Club, we would like to introduce the new Ceramics Club! The children will get to experiment with different techniques of stamping shapes, playing with textures, hand building pots and model making. Where possible, there will be a chance to have a shot on the potters wheel to throw small pots to decorate and fire. This is a unique opportunity for the children to work with our Ceramics tutor Heather Gilbert, and emerge themselves in pottery for a period of time that will allow them to build up confidence and skills in Ceramic work, whilst having loads of fun! Where the weather allows, we may take some ceramic activities outdoors. We would also hope to take walks to forage for foliage to embed in the ceramics, allowing the children to explore new textures and techniques. Please pack sunscreen! Children will need to bring a packed lunch each day, snack and refreshments will be provided.

We only have a small number of places, so book now to avoid disappointment!
