The Press Successful start to 2012 …. 2012 started well as Fords was awarded a contract for a press and sealer supply by a major producer of baby milk formula Chosen for our expertise and experience in this area, the equipment will be delivered later this year. Sales Manager Stuart Holman commented "In today's uncertain economic climate this represents a significant investment by a major client, and confirms our position as world leader in foil capping and sealing"

A New Direction…. Fords’ acquisition of ACS Ltd brought with it a secondary business activity of distributing Italianbuilt fresh pasta machines to the UK foodservice sector. This was seen as an exciting opportunity to expand the Fords’ name into new markets. Building on an already successful business strategy the range was quickly integrated under the banner of Fords Food Equipment.

Expansion of the product range has resulted from close relationships with existing customers, including the “Jamie’s Italian” chain of Italian restaurants, started by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. The portfolio now includes Parma ham slicers, automatic pizza dough & pizza base machines, plus stonebake ovens. All of the equipment is supported by our team of service engineers, and the company recently purchased a van, complete with Fords Food Equipment logo, to assist the service engineers in their task of supporting the range. For the first time as Fords Food Equipment, we will be exhibiting at the forthcoming Hotel Olympia trade show at the Excel centre, London 26th Feb to 1st March, where the full range of equipment now offered will be exhibited and demonstrated.
