ANNUAL REPORT 2013
Empowering Every Ability…
WE HAVE A VISION-ABILITY Foothills Gateway, Inc. believes in a life of opportunity , of choice, and of dignity for every individual, regardless of age or ability.
ince 1972, Foothills Gateway has provided case management and direct services to people with developmental disabilities, and their families, throughout Larimer County. We help people conquer challenges to reach their maximum potential and share their unique abilities with the community. Foothills Gateway provides support to community members, in the community. As deinstitutionalization took place in Colorado in the 1980’s, Foothills Gateway made a commitment to provide the best services possible to people in the community where they live. Over the past 40 years, Foothills Gateway has strived for excellence in reaching this goal. In 2013, Foothills Gateway began a new approach to provide these community members with services as part of the community. As Larimer County has a rich history of supporting people of all abilities, Foothills Gateway will be looking to its community supporters to create partnerships, job opportunities, and friendships so that all community members can live community lives with purpose.

Whether these funds are used to provide special adaptive equipment or provide families with additional respite opportunities and funding, these gifts are what make a difference between services in Larimer County and other areas throughout the country. Thank you to all 460 donors who helped provide additional funding to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities. You gave $319,673 in cash, planned gifts and gifts-in-kind to support Foothills Gateway’s programs, people receiving services, and facilities. These volunteers dedicate numerous hours per year to the agency and provide a wealth of encouragement, information and direction to the agency as a whole.
