O

ver the past 50 years, Foothill and De Anza have consistently ranked among the top twoyear colleges in the U.S. for outstanding academics and successful transfer to worldclass universities. Because our programs parallel requirements for the first two years of university study, more than one-third of all American students earning a bachelor’s degree now start at a community college. In fact, your chance of being accepted by a prestigious university for your third year is much greater if you start at a reputable two-year college, like Foothill or De Anza, recognized for academic excellence and preparation. Thanks to special articulation and transfer admission

agreements, as well as Transfer Center assistance, our students transfer to highly selective universities such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, Stanford, Cornell, Columbia, NYU, Santa Clara and many more.
