The stone building in Simpsonville has seen pioneers, early attacks from Native Americans, stagecoaches, slavery, presidents, students, and Civil War battles. It’s been a restaurant since the 1920’s, but never before has Old Stone Inn had someone at the helm with such an impressive resume. Churchill Downs Executive Chef David Danielson is resurrecting this historical landmark through a myriad of powerful collaborations.
