The TEABIRD origin story began long before the iconic leafy bird logo found its home on the cans consumers happily hold in their hands today. Cason’s first taste of alcohol involved Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka — and it proved to make a lasting impact on his taste buds. It wasn’t long before Cason realized his love for sweet tea wasn’t the exception; it was the rule. However, there didn’t

seem to be an ideal product within this category that delivered a clean ingredient panel. So that’s what he set out to do.

There are many components that work together to allow TEABIRD to soar above the rest. Using pure American spring water and real brewed tea, this crisp and clean beverage uses all natural ingredients, is only 110 calories and contains just 5g of sugar. It doesn’t get much sweeter than that. As one can imagine, refining a recipe to get it just right takes time and passion. Thankfully, Cason and his team possessed both of these qualities.

Around the same time this original hard sweet tea was being crafted, the idea for the right name took flight. TEABIRD seemed like the obvious choice to both Cason and Aldean. They loved how it was a defined brand that people could engage with in the beverage space as well as with merchandise.

“Developing TEABIRD wasn’t an overnight process by any means. We felt strongly about getting it right, which meant we were developing the product up until the last minute,” said Cason. “But we finally got to a place that we were really proud of and were officially ready to share it.”

Having the right people and process in place makes all the difference. Especially during the early stages of any business or brand. Seeing as TEABIRD was born in Austin and built upon the dream of crafting an all-American hard sweet tea that was as bold and soulful as a country ballad, finding the right partner was pivotal. Naturally, a collaboration with country superstar Jason Aldean turned out to be a recipe for success. His tunes steeped in American pride were an authentic musical representation of the TEABIRD brand, flavor, and experience.

In the evening, Bar Premio honors the tradition of aperitivo, with a wide selection of wines, shareable plates and traditional Italian desserts. FORTH’s rooftop cocktail lounge, Moonlight, pays tribute to the vibrant restaurant rooftops of the 1970s, featuring Italian mid-century modern design and creative cocktails. Within the walls of FORTH sits another experience all its own: a private, members-only social club unlike anything else in Atlanta. FORTH Club is inspired by the grand tradition of the early 20th-century salon, where community luminaries come together to connect, share stories and learn from one another. FORTH Club members are a community

of Atlanta’s most exciting and most thoughtful movers and doers. They will have access to the pool and the fitness center, a curated event schedule, as well as exclusive access to the private bar and lounge helmed by Executive Chef Jonathan McDowell.

FORTH Fitness Center

FORTH offers hotel guests and club members a world-class 20,000-square-foot wellness and fitness experience featuring Technogym equipment, specialized classes, dynamic studios, and personal training. The fitness center offers yoga, HIIT, meditation, and barre classes, as well as reformer, classic, and mat Pilates classes. Classes are offered 7 days a week. Post-workout, there are several recovery treatments available to club members including Theragun devices, and custom and specialty massages. Locker rooms are equipped with luxury amenities including a steam room, cold plunge, and dry sauna; laundry services are also available. The FORTH pool is also open to members for workouts and relaxation. The 2,400-square-foot pool has two dedicated lap lanes, available Monday through Friday starting at 6AM with lanes closing at 9:30AM.

Louisville-based Husband and Wife Team Launch West End Gin with Community Contribution

West End Gin has recently been launched from Black-owned marketing agency owners, Dr. Dawn and Stacey Wade of NIMBUS. West End Gin borrows its name from the West Louisville area, known for its rich Black American heritage, and is a highly aromatic gin, with a clean, crisp, yet smooth taste profile that plays hopscotch between a London Dry and a more modern contemporary gin.

The refreshing new gin expression is crafted with sweet and bitter orange peel, along with 12 other ingredients: juniper, coriander, cardamom, lemon peel, sweet orange peel, bitter orange peel, grapefruit peel, lemongrass, lemon verbena, jasmine, angelica root, orris root, grains of paradise, and cassia. GRILLED CHICKEN CAPRESE SALAD WITH HERBED BALSAMIC DRESSING

Ingredients For Chicken:

• 2 chicken breasts, pounded until they are evenly thick

• 1 tsp. kosher salt

• 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

• 3 frozen cubes of Dorot Gardens Basil

• 3 frozen cubes of Dorot Gardens Parsley

• 2 frozen cubes of Dorot Gardens Garlic

• 2 Tblsp. olive oil

• 2 Tblsp. balsamic vinegar

Ingredients For Dressing:

• 2 frozen cubes of Dorot Gardens Basil

• 1 frozen cube of Dorot Gardens Parsley

• 1 frozen cubes of Dorot Gardens Garlic

• 2 Tblsp. extra virgin olive oil

• 2 tsp. balsamic vinegar

• 1 tsp. Dijon mustard

• 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

• 1/4 tsp. freshly grounded black pepper

Ingredients for Salad:

• 1 large head romaine lettuce, washed, dried and chopped

• 1/2 C. grape tomatoes, cut in half

• 1/2 C. fresh mozzarella, cubed

• 1 ripened avocado, cubed

• 1/2 large cucumber, peeled and cubed

Directions: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then mix the rest of the ingredients with the chicken in a resealable plastic bag. Allow frozen cubes to thaw and knead until combined. Place in refrigerator as you prep the rest of your ingredients and pre-heat your grill on hill.

GUASACACA SAUCE

Ingredients:

• 1/2 Medium Vidalia onion, chopped

• 1 Green bell pepper, chopped

• 1 Ripened avocado

• 1 Entire pack of Dorot Gardens Frozen Parsley Cubes

• 1 Entire pack of Dorot Gardens Frozen Cilantro Cubes

• 1/4 C. Distilled white vinegar

• 1/4 C. Extra virgin olive oil

• 1 tsp. Kosher salt

• Grilled meats, poultry or fish of your choice

Directions:

Make “Guasacaca” sauce by combining first 8 ingredients in a food processor and running it for about a minute until smooth. Adjust salt to taste. Set aside as you cook your meats.

Spread a layer of “Guasacaca” throughout grilled meats, poultry or fish.

Serve with extra sauce.

Ingredients:

• 1 ball pizza dough, found in supermarket

• 1/4 C. olive oil

• 3 cubes Dorot Gardens frozen garlic

• 3 cubes Dorot Gardens frozen basil

• 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

• 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt

For marinara dipping sauce:

Pre-heat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Flatten pizza dough to about 1/2-inch thickness using flour to help it not stick. Cut into thin strands and tie into small knots.
